Located on the Fort Lewis College campus in beautiful Durango, Colorado, Music in the Mountains Conservatory offers students a chance to study with award winning faculty in the heart of the San Juan Mountains.  Experience live concerts performed by the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra at our breathtaking mountain venue, and become a part of our community of music. 

At the Music in the Mountains Conservatory, students will participate daily in Conservatory Orchestra and chamber music rehearsals.  Every student will receive weekly private lessons and master classes with our faculty, as well as quality time to practice, and participate in workshops such as public speaking, and music theory.  Weekly performance opportunities are available, along with attendance at the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra Concerts.

Brass (horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba)
Piano

Age Requirements
Students must be of high school and college age.

*Age exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis as determined by the administration.
